Apr 15- Apr 30 Official announcement made. DICE 2021 Ad in newspapers, TV channels, facebook, web, etc. DICE 2021 Mega Event is open to all public and private sector universities. Invitation letters and emails along with DICE 2021 Brochure, sent to all VCs/Rectors, Deans and HODs.
Apr 30 – Jun 15 Universities submit project titles, one-page description and team membership, online. Invitation committee must regularly follow-up with universities during this time. Proposal acknowledgement must be sent automatically as soon as team registers its project on the DICE 2021 website on https://diceinnovationportal.com/
June 15 – Aug 31 Invitation sent to Industry to exhibit at the event. Invitation sent to speakers from industry, academia, Government, and expatriates for symposiums and panel discussions. Solicit sponsorship from industry, public and private institutes, etc. Regular follow-up is needed.
Aug 31 Written report/business plan submission (deadline) by participating teams using a standard template (to be downloaded from the DICE 2021 website).
Aug 31 – Sept 15 Reports reviewed by review committee/judges.
Sept 01 – Sept 15 Invitations for the final event sent to industry executives, university officials, government officials, other participants, etc. RSVP.
Sept 15 – Oct 27 Finalize Event Day Preparations: Symposiums, Panel discussions, Social evening planning/preparation, Booths, Banners, Tote Bags, Shields, Certificates, final Program posted on website, Chief Guests (opening and closing) and other guest of honors finalized, Out of town faculty/speakers/guests/student teams boarding & lodging finalized, food arrangements, media arrangements, etc.
Oct. 29 – 30, 2021 Final Event – Opening Ceremony, Innovation Exhibition ( academia / industry display booths in 4 clusters (as per category), Academia / Industry symposiums/panel discussions, social evening, Project Judging - Top 3 winners and runner-ups are selected in each of 4 categories. Top Innovations selected for further development and commercialization, Closing ceremony - Prize / shield distributions / Wrap-up
